Below you will find an overview with
the HaLu pillows we have available
in our assortment. Our pillows are
suitable for many purposes and
applications such as relaxing in the
sauna, Turkish bath, Hammam and
massage treatments. Currently a new
version is being developed for usage
in solarium. Each headrest has its
own specific characteristics.

The wooden Halu pillow is the ultimate headrest for usage in the sauna. More and more people know about the existence of the pillow and enjoy the comfort and ergonomics . All pillows are currently being made with the new HaLu hinge, and feature hollow dishes. Because off the innovations applied, the comfort is even higher. Basic , Abachi wood is being used. This highquality wood meets the same hygiene requirements as traditional sauna benches. Abachi wood feels soft to the touch, does not splinter and is heat-absorbing. This pillow is also available as an Anti-Theft version especially for the public sauna's. |

The Red Cedar HaLu pillow has the same qualities as the Abachi wood pillow. The characteristics of red cedar are generally the same as Abachi but besides this it also has a very pleasant smell and a bit more luxurious appearance. |

| Hammam Pillow - Plastic without silicone pads | ||

This pillow is fully made off plastic, which is ideal for usage in wet locations such as the Turkish bath and Hammam. These cushions have the new hinges and hollow dishes for optimum comfort. The Hammam cushions have an off-white colour. |

The HaLu Massage pillow itself looks the same as the Hammam cushion. However, the massage cushions do have the soft silicone based dishes. This gives a slightly higher comfort. It is the more or less rigid silicon material wich is holding your head in place. The back of your head, the neck and the shoulders are completely free so the massage therapist can easily carry out the massage. In addition, the head can be turned over the dishes so it is even possible to massage the muscle attachments on the back of the head without having to lift the head. |

Besides usage in the sauna the Halu pillow is very much suitable as a pillow for the solarium. The head stays exactly in the same position as it is rested. Therefore complete relaxation is possible. The head does not roll over, when falling asleep. You will wake up beautifully tanned on all sides. |

► ► The HaLu Hinge
Especially for the application of the Halu cushion the Halu hinge has been developed. It is made of high quality plastic. Properties of this kind of plastic are the low thermal conductivity and high wearing resistance/ long life assurance. In addition, this plastic is resistant to high temperatures. Technically, this hinge gives the utmost comfort .
With four flexible dishes the HaLu pillow does not only look totally different as the traditional head rests but it also feels really different. You hardly notice that there is something situated beneath the head,
but the head is lifted in such a way that it provides a comfortable position. You are not slipping off and the pressure from the head rather than from the shoulder prevents the pillow from moving.
This way the neck muscles can completely relax.
The plastic HaLu pillow ended up third in the Innovation Award contest in Belgium 2009.
